People often contact me with a tool or approach in mind. But I find everyone really wants an outcome. Like a team that performs better. A recruitment process that hits more than it misses. Or an approach to leadership that works: for the business, the team, and the person's own wiring. So I'll always ask you to send me a little context about your situation up front.

Senior leaders have a huge impact on culture, so you want to get it right. But how do you know what you're actually getting, when most of them interview well?
I help you see the things an interview won't reveal, so you're forewarned about what you'll gain, what you'll have to live with, and what you can do to set the person up to succeed. This is only possible because:
I assess the candidate against the role, not in abstract
I test the data with each candidate, in a thorough two hour conversation
I blend the data and candidate narrative with twenty years of doing this work, and
I bring the insights to life, in an hour conversation with you

I help you see the strengths that are serving you, and the patterns that aren't, by starting with a rigorous leadership assessment. Because if we add knowledge before insight, these under pressure patterns and unconscious beliefs will keep undermining your efforts. This involves:
Three evidence-based questionnaires, and a 360 if you'd like
Two hours with me to make sense of it all, drawing on twenty years of doing this work
The investment starts at $3,000 plus GST for the leadership assessment, and leads to either one-on-one coaching or a five-day leadership intensive.

Shanel Winning

I’m Shanel Winning, a registered psychologist who helps organisations get results that last. My clients come to me for my people expertise but stay for the rest: logical, evidence-based advice that works with their wiring and the commercial realities of business. I took the long way here: operations, information systems, marketing, a stint in mergers and acquisitions, then registration as a psychologist in 2006. I’m allergic to spin, hype, and theory that sounds good at thirty thousand feet, just like the technical executives and partners I work with. My approach is always side-by-side, never “expert dispensing wisdom”. So while I won’t tell you what you want to hear, you'll always feel respected and valued for who you are, and confident that I'm working in your best interests.
